As an appreciator of all things automotive, I enjoy having conversations about the next new car or truck coming out and all the latest greatest features that will accompany it. While there are many who enjoy the benefits of buying a two year old model at a reasonable discount, there are equally as many who desire the next new thing and all the gadgets it has to offer.  The great news is that our economy needs BOTH mindsets of people; those that value a discount in turn for existing wear and tear, and those that will pay a premium for the fresh smell and the knowledge that no one has mishandled the item previously.

The great thing is that this example is equally relevant to the Real Estate Market. Do you yearn for the pricing discount, or do you yearn to know that nothing has ever been spilled on the carpet or that the bath tub has never run over and flooded the Master Bath?  There is certainly validity to both sides of the argument considering the things I've come across in a few "memorable" homes I've had the pleasure to tour!

If you are the "value based" buyer, our market today is very fortunate for you, as there is still an excellent crop of available homes you can view on my website. If you find yourself on the "new car smell" side, there are some incredible builders I'd love the opportunity to show you!

The article below features Maracay Homes, who definitely carries all the bells and whistles! These homes have such high energy efficiency, that they actually pump in fresh air in some cases because they are sealed soo well!!!  If you'd like to take a look at one of their many communities, or any others in that case, give me a call today! I make it a point to stay on top of the current new communities to ensure we find a home that is the right fit for you with as little of your time spent as possible!

deseo-exteriorBoth builder and consumer confidence remain on the up-and-ups as new home sales continue to edge upward in the United States. Positive headlines across the country indicate that many buyer segments are ready to take the plunge and purchase their dream home. For those among that group, move-in-ready homes are a great option to consider.Often known as inventory homes, move-in-ready homes are those that are already complete or nearing completion and are thus available for immediate sale. These types of properties are ideal for buyers looking to make somewhat of an expedited move as new home builds can often take upwards of six to seven months to complete.Outside of immediacy, move-in ready homes often offer buyers an opportunity to purchase in some of the most prime locations in their cities. Builders develop communities in areas that are poised to attract buyers based on a variety of factors including convenience, employment opportunities and property value. For example, here in Arizona, Maracay offers move-in-ready homes in booming cities such as GilbertQueen Creek and Tucson. To top it all off, many builder offer incentives to sweeten the deal. Right now, Maracay buyers can enjoy counter depth GE stainless steel refrigerators, front-load GE washer and dryers and four bronze or nickel interior ceiling fans for closings by Dec. 19. What’s not to love about that?
